The BLACKROLL Membership Build: Priya’s Launch Diary

Entry: March 2026

After years in digital roles across the sports industry, earlier this year I made the leap from corporate life to join the scale-up BLACKROLL to build their membership programme from the ground up.

The timing couldn’t have been more exciting as BLACKROLL is evolving from a sports recovery pioneer into a longevity ecosystem, combining science, AI and performance expertise to help people move better, recover smarter and live healthier for longer. Membership will sit at the heart of this next chapter.

What makes it special, is that we are not just building a traditional loyalty scheme. We’re designing a programme that balances reward for engagement with reward for spend, blending community, content, performance and commerce into one cohesive experience. It’s ambitious and complex, as there is no playbook for this…yet!

With the official launch planned for July, I’ll be sharing monthly updates as we bring this vision to life: the key decisions shaping the programme,  the unexpected challenges, and the milestones that make it all worthwhile, opening the door to building something daring in real time.
